H-AIPPM
AGENDA
FREEZE DATE : 2ND JUNE 1947
The Historical All India Political Parties Meet (AIPPM) is a premier crisis–based committee modelled on India’s multi-party political system. Unlike conventional parliamentary debates, the Historical AIPPM recreates significant moments from India’s political past, allowing delegates to step into the shoes of influential leaders and navigate pivotal national issues. It focuses on negotiation, coalition-building, ideological clashes, and high-pressure decision-making.
By revisiting major historical events, the committee enables participants to understand India’s political evolution, study policy impacts, and engage in dynamic debates rooted in real-world contexts. It is known for its informal structure, sharp rhetoric, and emphasis on strategy, diplomacy, and political insight.

UNHRC
The United Nations Human Rights Council (UNHRC) is an intergovernmental body within the UN system responsible for promoting and protecting human rights worldwide. Established in 2006, the Council addresses violations, recommends solutions, and works to strengthen the global human rights framework.
Comprising 47 member states elected by the UN General Assembly, the UNHRC conducts dialogues, reviews human rights records through the Universal Periodic Review (UPR), and deploys special rapporteurs to monitor specific issues and regions.
In Model UN, the UNHRC offers a platform for delegates to debate pressing humanitarian concerns, draft rights-based resolutions, and advocate for the dignity, freedom, and equality of all individuals.

DISEC
The Disarmament and International Security Committee (DISEC) is the First Committee of the United Nations General Assembly, dedicated to addressing global challenges related to disarmament, international peace, and security. DISEC focuses on reducing the threat of weapons—conventional, nuclear, and emerging technologies—while promoting cooperative security and conflict prevention.
Comprising all UN member states, the committee works through debate, negotiation, and consensus-building to develop recommendations that strengthen international stability.
In Model UN, DISEC provides delegates with a dynamic platform to engage with issues such as arms control, cyber warfare, regional conflicts, and global security frameworks, encouraging strategic diplomacy and innovative solutions.

IP
The International Press (IP) is a dedicated journalistic body in Model UN conferences, responsible for covering committee proceedings, crises, and delegate interactions through unbiased reporting. IP members—comprising reporters, photographers, and editors—document debates, interview delegates, analyze developments, and publish timely news articles, press releases, and visual content.
Serving as the bridge between committees and the conference audience, the IP ensures transparency, encourages accountability, and adds a dynamic media dimension to the MUN experience. It also challenges participants to think critically, write creatively, and respond to fast-paced diplomatic developments.
